Casting Girls for "May We All" Musical
Performers ages 17 and up are invited to audition for the "May We All" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: Set in Harmony, Tennessee — once known as “the town that sings” — the story follows Jenna Coates. After a disappointing attempt at a Nashville music career, Jenna returns to her struggling hometown to face the music and reconnect with the people she left behind. The show features a “treasure trove” of hits from country legends, including Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, and Keith Urban, alongside two original songs. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: VOCALS: Bring 16–32 bars (30–60 seconds) of a COUNTRY SONG (NOT FROM THE SHOW) that best shows your vocal range and ability. DO NOT bring a traditional musical theater song. We want to hear heart, storytelling, and a little twang! Please bring a background track in the appropriate key to sing with. Directors will have a Bluetooth speaker to connect their phone to. DANCE: A short dance combination will be taught to all. Wear comfortable clothing and be ready to move. Do not worry if you are not a dancer, directors just want to see how you move! ACTING: You will perform light scene work with cold readings from the script. CONFLICTS: Please bring a list of any and all potential conflicts between May 10th and July 19th. These must be notated on your audition form. Callbacks will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13, by invitation only. The production will run July 9-12 and July 16-19. Show times will be at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sundays. See the attachment for details. If interested, please apply.
