"Star Power" A New Musical Needs Kids

"Star Power" A New Musical is looking for perfomers ages 7-16 years old. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In a galaxy obsessed with fame, flashy personas, and Cosmic Ray’s coveted “Yes Way,” a scrappy band called The Red Giants dreams of being discovered. When an unexpected opportunity puts them on the path to superstardom, they’re tempted to trade their true selves for dramatic makeovers, capes, and carefully crafted personas. As ambition pulls them apart and loyalty is put to the test, the band must decide what matters more: chasing fame, or staying true to the friendships that made their music special in the first place. Additional info: Callbacks for lead roles will be Monday, June 15. Rehearsal schedule will be set by director, but will be mainly weeknights June-September (slow through June, picking up in July), with some weekend days for music/choreo.
