Teens Needed for "Hadestown" Show
Teens aged 14-18 are invited to audition for the "Hadestown" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Hadestown: Teen Edition is a full-length adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s Hadestown, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences. This full-length Teen Edition of Anaïs Mitchell’s haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera follows Orpheus’ mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favor of his one true love, Eurydice. Additional info: You MUST prepare a 30-second to 1-minute monologue audition, and a song from a musical, except from Hadestown, Les Misérables, Annie, Wicked, or Hamilton. Both the completed form AND the video audition must be received by the end of In-Person Auditions to be considered. Tech Week is June 22-26, 2026. Performances are June 26-28, 2026. You must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and ALL performances. Note that a fee will be involved. If interested, please apply.
