Child Auditions for Musical Production "Frozen"

About the project: Synopsis: In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. Additional info: Rehearsal period: March 8th – May 6th (Typical rehearsal schedule is Sunday through Thursday evenings, 6:30 PM to 10 PM) Run date: May 7th – 23rd (Fri, Sat, Sun) What to Prepare for the Audition: - Vocal Audition: Prepare 32 bars of an upbeat song (ideally from a musical, but pop is okay). Bring sheet music in your key to the audition; an accompanist will be provided. - Monologue: Present a contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes. - Materials: Bring 2 copies of a current resume and a headshot. Note: all actors will now be engaged as volunteers. Actors may receive volunteer reimbursements not to exceed $600 in a calendar year. If you are interested, please apply.
