Seeking Teens for "Footloose" Show

Teen performers are invited to audition for the "Footloose" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But he’s not prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing, established by the local preacher who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. When the reverend’s rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren’s reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. This heartfelt story that pins a father longing for the son he lost against a young man aching for the father who walked out on him. Additional info: Please bring 16-32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal range, with sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist. A change of clothes for the dance portion of the audition is encouraged. Those auditioning may be asked to read excerpts from the show. No conflicts after July 5.
