Teens Needed for "Damn Yankees" Show

Looking for performers ages 14 and up for the "Damn Yankees" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please be prepared to sing an excerpt from a song of your choosing that best demonstrates your abilities. Your excerpt should be about one minute in length. We will provide an accompanist, so please have the sheet music ready and clearly marked. The choreographer will work with groups of 6-8 people and teach you a short dance combination. Please wear comfortable clothes and footwear, like athletic shoes, ballet flats, etc. No need to wear specialized dance shoes. You may be asked to read a scene from the script. Callbacks will be on Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 pm at the Oregon Middle School. The first rehearsal will be on Monday, June 8th, at 6:30 pm. Directors will typically rehearse Sunday through Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 pm. Some weeks, we will have 4 rehearsals; other weeks, 5. Depending on your role, you will not be called to every rehearsal. On Saturdays, directors will have “work days”; you will receive more information about this at the first rehearsal. Before you audition, please provide a complete list of your conflicts; directors will do their best to accommodate your schedule.
