About the project: The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before —keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Soprano/Mezzo-Soprano (A3–E5). Deadpan, fiercely loyal, and navigating love for the first time. A strong belt is essential. The emotional lead of the show with significant solo material.

High Tenor (A3–F5). Wednesday's devoted and chaotic little brother, grappling with the fear of being left behind as his sister grows up. Charming and funny, ideally with a higher unchanged or young sounding voice. This role is open to performers of any gender.

Mezzo-Soprano/Alto. Feisty, unpredictable, and wise in the most unhinged way possible. A scene stealer with strong comedic chops. Always has a trick up her sleeve.

Tenor/Baritone (C3–G4, optional C5). The narrator of the evening and the heart of the show. Lovable, childlike, wildly enthusiastic, and completely one of a kind. Ukulele skills are a bonus but not required. This role is open to performers of any gender.

Tenor/Baritone (C3–C5). Warm, earnest, and a little dorky. The boy who fell in love with Wednesday Addams, which tells you everything you need to know about him. A strong singer navigating the gap between his world and hers.

Tenor (C3–A4). Buttoned up, practical, and deeply out of his comfort zone. A straight laced father who has lost touch with who he used to be. A satisfying arc for the right performer.
