About the project: This classic play opens in a sleepy Alabama town in the midst of the Great Depression. However, the facade of the seemingly peaceful town begins to crack when a young black man is accused of a terrible crime. Additional info: Performed on May 1, 2 and 3 at the Concord City Auditorium. This production includes racially charged language and a false accusation of sexual assault which will not be altered in any way. Any youth under the age of 18 who is considering auditioning will be required to have a permission form completed by a parent/guardian and on file with the director prior to the audition date.
