About the project: SYNOPSIS: Strength Beyond Scars is a drama inspired by true events about a young woman who immigrates to the United States to build a peaceful life and become a nurse. After marrying a man who later becomes controlling and abusive, she endures years of abuse while raising her children and trying to move forward. When the violence escalates, she finds the courage to leave, protect her family, and confront her abuser through the legal system. As he spirals into reckless choices and further violence, the story ends with accountability, and she and her children begin a safer, stronger new life. Rate: Roles are PAID. Pay rate: TBD.
