Auditions for a staged reading of “MASTER HAROLD…and the boys.” Please see the details below. About the project: In Port Elizabeth, South Africa, a white teen who has grown up in the affectionate company of two Black waiters who work in his mother’s tearoom learns that his alcoholic father is on his way home from the hospital. This unwelcome news and the rage that follows unwittingly trigger his inevitable passage into the culture of hatred fostered by apartheid. Additionla info: Rehearsals during the month of March, with four performances, March 27, 28 & 29, 2026. Auditioners will be reading from the script.
