Child Auditions for Musical Production "Music Man"

Now holding auditions for children for "Music Man." Full details below. Additional info: All auditioners, after completing intake, will perform a brief physical warm-up and learn a basic choreo combo to the song “Shipoopi.” After that, everyone will sing through the ensemble portion of “Seventy-Six Trombones” as a brief vocal warm-up. Those auditioning for Ensemble parts will then have their individual auditions, offering one of the available Ensemble selections. All individual auditions will be closed. After all Ensemble auditions are completed, principal auditions will commence. Named roles will individually offer their respective songs and read a side pertinent to their character. Familiarization with sides is recommended. Memorization is not required. Audition preparation recommendations: Auditioners should wear comfortable clothing and footwear that allow safe movement. Come to have fun! Music Man is a campy look at a turn-of-the-century Midwestern small town with all its quirks, so approach the material accordingly.
