About the project: The Diary of Anne Frank (play) by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich is a 2-act drama documenting the 25 months two Jewish families—the Franks and van Daans—plus Mr. Dussel, spend hiding from the Nazis in a cramped Amsterdam attic. It explores their fear, interpersonal conflicts, budding romance between Anne and Peter, and, ultimately, their betrayal and arrest.
