Casting Boys and Girls for "Singin' in the Rain" Play

Open to anyone 12 years or older. Looking to cast a small number of younger artists in the ensemble. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additionla info: Callbacks: Monday, March 2 ‍7:30 PM –10:30 PM 1 Fill out the following audition form: Singin' in the Rain Audition Form 2 Upload a headshot and resume, if available 3 Sign up for a Song Audition Time For performers ages 12-15: - Please prepare ONE song in the style of the show (16-32 bars/about 30 seconds to one minute). Please do not use a song from the show. See note about music selection below. - From 9-10 pm, you will be participating in the Dance portion of the audition. You will be given 3 to 4 counts of 8 of Golden Era style jazz movement/dance, and an optional 3 counts of 8 of Tap For performers over the age of 15: - Please prepare TWO CONTRASTING songs in the style of the show (16-32 bars/about 30 seconds to one minute each). Please do not use a song from the show. See note about music selection below. The first part of the audition will consist of the vocal audition at your chosen time slot. - For the second half, please be prepared to move. You will be given 3 to 4 counts of 8 of Golden Era style jazz movement/dance, and an optional 3 counts of 8 of tap NOTE: Tap skills will not be taught during the rehearsal process; we will use all the existing skills of the current cast to enhance the story through choreography. - For accessibility purposes, those who register to audition will receive the dance audition via email the week before.
