Casting call for child actors for a short film "Alone". See the details below. ONLY OH and LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: In the quiet aftermath of an alien invasion, a grieving 12-year-old girl, shouldering responsibilities far beyond her years, makes a desperate choice that could save her family or isolate her forever. PROJECT OVERVIEW ALONE is a character-driven sci-fi short that serves as both a standalone film and proof of concept for a larger cinematic universe. The film establishes the visual style, tone, and emotional foundation for a story that will span multiple films. It introduces the audience to a young "Sam" Washington before she’s known as the world-renowned astrophysicist, Dr. Samaya Washington. This short is an intimate character study that grounds the sci-fi premise in raw human emotion. We're witnessing a pivotal moment in Sam's childhood. The invasion is the backdrop; Sam's humanity is the story. Audiences follow her journey forward, gaining insight into what she's fighting to hold onto.
