"12-Hour Junior Musical" Needs Boys and Girls

Looking for performers ages 12-18 years old for "12-Hour Junior Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Teens will audition for a show several months in advance. On the day of the performance, the cast arrives at the theatre at 6:00 AM and has just 12 hours to learn, rehearse, and fully stage a junior musical—which will be performed that very night at 7:00 PM! The twist? The audience won’t know which show they’re seeing until they take their seats. Join the team for a high-energy, one-day theatrical adventure that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the incredible talent of for young performers—all while supporting a great cause. Don’t miss this exciting and unpredictable fundraiser! For the audition: You will need to prepare 16-bar cuts of two contrasting musical theatre pieces (up to 1 minute each). You will also be doing cold readings from several shows, but there is no indication of which show will be performed. You will also be asked to learn 16 counts of a dance break of varying difficulty. Rehearsal begins June 20th at 7 am SHARP. Phones will be turned in at that time, and communication will not be allowed until after that performance that evening.
