"The Time the Knight and George Did a Thing" seeks performers ages 7-17 years old. Please see the details below. About the project: A group of kids have been cast as “the set” in an ordinary school play, but everything changes when they discover the audience can see and hear them. As the scripted show unravels, the scenery springs to life, inventing its own wildly unpredictable adventure filled with a brave knight, a surprisingly friendly alligator named George, a hamburger-powered rescue, and an unexpected rap battle with a witch. Will their improvised performance hold together before Act Two of the play awkwardly begins, or will the chaos take center stage? Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Performance Dates: Saturday, April 4 at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Wilmington Drama League, along with a possible library performance on either April 11 or 12 (date and details to be confirmed).
