About the project: "The Basil Biggs Project" traces the life of a farmer, veterinarian and prominent Gettysburg figure. Biggs received a contract to disinter and rebury the Union dead following the battle of Gettysburg - the bloodiest of the Civil War. Though a prominent figure in his community, it appears that Biggs did not read or write. Rate: $500 a week, possibly negotiable. Additional info: Actors must be Philadelphia-based OR have roots in Philadelphia AND their own local accommodations in the Philadelphia area. Type of Project: CONCERT READING. It will take place in Philadelphia at The Wilma Theater. Rehearsals and shows all take place in Philadelphia. Union and Non-Union. Total Obligation: June 2nd through 28th, detailed below. Date of Shows: June 25 through 28 Rehearsals and Tech Week: Rehearsals begin June 2nd, Tech Week, the week of June 22nd, and the last show will be June 28th. Location: Performances will be held at The Wilma Theater. Talent must be available on the dates listed. Talent must live within 90 minutes or have their own local accommodations.
