"West Side Story" Show Needs Teens

Performers ages 16 and up are invited to audition for the "West Side Story" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: These are unpaid positions. Additional info: Searching for strong, athletic dancers who sing to bring these iconic rivalries to life on the Mainstage. Please come prepared to learn a dance combination in clothes you can move well in. Some may be asked to stay and sing, so please bring your book with a song selection in the show's style. Songs from the show are fine. 16 – 32 bar cut with cuts labeled and in a binder for the accompanist. Please bring jazz shoes or sneakers that you can move in. Girl dancers, please also bring a character heel. Please bring a current headshot and resume. Sign-in and holding will be on the second floor of the main lobby. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the audition. Other information regarding our rehearsal process and weekly performance schedule: Rehearsals are Tuesday – Sunday from 10 AM – 6 PM. Directors will be able to work around minimal conflicts during the rehearsal process, but you must be available for all tech rehearsals and performances.
