Casting teens for the "Cabaret" play. Details below. About the project: Cabaret is set in 1929-1930 Berlin, Germany, during the twilight of the jazz age, at the beginning of the Third Reich. The musical focuses on the hedonistic nightlife at the luring Kit Kat Club and revolves around American novelist Clifford Bradshaw’s relations with British cabaret performer Sally Bowles. Additional info: Performances run April 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, and May 1, 2, 3. Please prepare 30-45 seconds of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided for sheet music, or bring your own track without vocals. If you are interested, please apply.

These performers are often in salacious situations and costumes. They are an eclectic mix of individuals and aren’t necessarily a matching unit. It is very important that they act, sing, dance/move well and with confidence. They will be part of various scenes in and out of the Club; should be comfortable interacting with the audience and comfortable with bawdy/suggestive staging/choreography; Rosie, Lulu, Frenchie, Texas, Fritzie/ Frau Kost, Helga, Bobby, Victor, Herman, Hans.
