Casting Kids and Teens for "Seussical, the Musical"

Performers of all ages (8 and up) needed for "Seussical, the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Seussical, the Musical is a vibrant, heartwarming celebration of imagination and community, weaving together beloved stories from the world of Dr. Seuss. Led by the mischievous Cat in the Hat, the musical follows Horton the Elephant as he protects the tiny Whos living on a speck of dust while also guarding an abandoned egg left in his care by Mayzie La Bird. Along the way, Horton faces ridicule, danger, and doubt, but with the unwavering faith of Gertrude McFuzz and the power of friendship, loyalty, and perseverance, the community ultimately comes together in triumph. Additionla info: PERFORMANCE DATES: Fridays, June 5 & 12, 2026, at 8 pm Saturdays, June 6 & 13 at 2 pm Sundays, June 7 & 14 at 2 pm Possible midweek school performance. PREPARE: 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre or show tune Please bring sheet music Be prepared to learn a short dance routine REHEARSALS: First read-through will take place immediately after all roles are cast Rehearsals will begin in early April; exact schedule to be determined If interested, please apply.
