Kids and Teens Needed for "Shrek the Musical"

Looking for kids ages 5 and up for "Shrek the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears. Additional info: Children age 5+ may be considered for non-speaking, non-singing ensemble roles. Performers age 8+ will be considered for speaking and singing roles. Teens may be considered for featured roles such as Pinocchio, Gingy, and similar characters All performers cast must be available for: Regular rehearsals from late February through mid-May 2026. (Conflicts during regular rehearsals are permitted; however, excessive conflicts may affect casting decisions.) All tech rehearsals, dress rehearsals, performances, and strike. No conflicts are permitted during tech weeks or performances. If you are unsure about your availability for these dates, please consider carefully before auditioning.
