If you sing, do comedy, dance, perform magic, play music, or have ANY cool skill — this is YOUR moment. By registering for and participating in Show Me Skills, all contestants agree to the following rules and conditions. 1. Eligibility Contestants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the required waiver No professional contract required — amateurs and professionals are welcome All talents are welcome, including but not limited to: Singing Dancing Comedy Magic Spoken word Instrumental performance Specialty or unique skills Show Me Skills reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not meet eligibility requirements or violates these rules. 2. Audition Registration & Fee All auditions must be registered online through the official Show Me Skills website Audition fee Audition fee must be paid after submission and before audition time is confirmed No online or video auditions will be accepted An audition fee does not guarantee advancement All audition fees are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including no-shows. 3. Audition Day Process Auditions are held live and in person There is no cap on the number of audition participants Each contestant will receive one (1) two-minute performance slot Timing begins when the performance starts, not when introduced Performances exceeding the time limit may be stopped at the judges’ discretion Contestants must check in upon arrival and sign a mandatory liability waiver 4. Performance Guidelines Performances must be appropriate for a general audience No hate speech, nudity, or illegal activity permitted Dangerous acts must be disclosed in advance and approved by production Show Me Skills reserves the right to stop or disqualify any performance deemed unsafe or inappropriate Contestants must provide their own props, instruments, and backing tracks unless otherwise approved. 5. Advancement Structure 25 contestants will advance from Audition Day Advancement decisions are made by judges and production staff Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal 6. Semi-Finals The 25 advancing contestants will perform in the Semi-Final round 11 contestants will advance based on live audience vote 2 Wild Card contestants will be selected by judges only A total of 13 contestants will advance to the Finale Audience voting procedures will be explained on-site. 7. Finale & Winner Selection The Finale winner will be determined solely by the judges Audience voting will not be used in the Finale The judges’ decision is final 8. Prize The Grand Prize is $10,000 USD The prize will be awarded live on stage on the Finale night The winner must be present to receive the prize The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes Prize payout method will be disclosed prior to the Finale 9. Media Release By participating, contestants grant Show Me Skills the right to: Record audio, video, and photography Use likeness, name, and performance for promotional and commercial purposes Distribute content via broadcast, digital, and social platforms 10.
