Casting Teen Singers and Dancers for "Jersey Boys"
Auditions for performers who are strong singers and dancers, ages 16 and up, for "JERSEY BOYS". Please see the details below. About the project: With phenomenal music, memorable characters, and great storytelling, JERSEY BOYS follows the fascinating evolution of four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. Winner of Best Musical at both the Tony Awards® and Olivier Awards®, JERSEY BOYS takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom. Additionla info: Please prepare a 16 – 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song, either from the show or in a similar style. An accompanist will be provided. There will be a dance audition following the vocal auditions. Please wear comfortable clothes for dancing as well as sneakers. A strong tenor with strong falsetto, able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli; strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G; charismatic and charming; a gritty side as well as a polished veneer; must be very comfortable with four-part harmonies. One of The Four Seasons.
Owns a private money lending agency; to play various roles; tenor/bari-tenor voice.
