Role: Leading | Non-speaking The middle daughter is a quiet observer, old enough to sense something is wrong but too young to fully name it.
Role: Leading | Speaking The oldest is the conduit between the adult world and her siblings, fielding phone calls from their mother. She understands enough to be frightened, but not enough to feel in control.
Role: Supporting | Non-speaking The baby exists almost entirely in the present moment, untouched by the language and implications unfolding around them.
