"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" Seeks Teens
Looking for boys and girls ages 16+ for the "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" Show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks are on Saturday, February 28th Rehearsals begin April 12th Audition Format: Initial auditions are being accepted online. Please film yourself singing a 15 - 30 bar cut (about 30 seconds to one minute) from a musical and submit it with the completed form. If you have played a lead or supporting lead in a show directed by Melissa and Jo in the last 12 months, submitting a video is optional (we remember your voice), but you will still need to fill out the form. Actors will be asked to attend callbacks no later than Wed, Feb 25th. Deadline to submit self tape for initial auditions is Wed, Feb 25th. If you are interested, please apply.

An actress with a strong rock singing voice (high belt to E, full-range Mezzo) who is strong on comedy and moves well.
Tenor. The eleventh son of Jacob; his father’s favorite. Charismatic, honest to a fault, and a little naive as to the ways of the world.
Eleven brothers with strong singing voices, and the ability to dance. Female presenting actors may audition for these if willing to play it as trouser role. REUBEN, SIMEON, LEVI, NAPHTALI, ISSACHAR, ASHER, DAN, ZEBULUN, GAD, BENJAMIN, JUDAH (sings "Benjamin Calypso). There are several significant solos (Canaan Days and One More Angel) that will be assigned to one of the brothers, but they are not pre-assigned in the script and so can be performed by a brother of any age.
Eleven wives for the brothers, strong singing voices, the ability to dance.
Good actor/singer with Tenor/Baritone range. Elvis Presley impersonator type who moves well.
Comedic character roles with solos, to be pulled from the actors playing brothers and wives.
Mix of voices, good movement. We're looking for young actors who are ready to take the next step out of doing children's theater. Please note, parent's of child actors will be asked to assist with child management at at least one tech rehearsal or performance.
