"The Words Will Come" Show Needs Teen Performers

About the project: The Words Will Come is a devised, movement-based play centered on dyslexia not as a deficit, but as a way of thinking, sensing, and remembering. Following a young Persian girl and her adult self, the piece explores how shame is learned, how intelligence is mismeasured, and how imagination becomes a survival tool. By disrupting linear storytelling and traditional language structures, the play places the audience inside a dyslexic experience in real time. Rate: $16/hour Non-Union Equity contracts available Additional info: Actors should bring a headshot (emailing one works too) and résumé, and wear clothes they can move in. Auditions will include sides and movement exercises.
