About the project: "Overcome" follows a group of British children who leave the bombing of London to find refuge in a small village in the country. But their world is soon upended again when two German children arrive to stay with the same family, and the whole village must face challenging questions about prejudice, love, courage, and forgiveness. Additional info: Please prepare a memorized monologue about one minute in length. Since this story involves a small bit of singing, please also prepare a song about minute in length which you can sing a capella if are trying out for a singing part.
