ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting teen boy for the production of “1776”. See more info below. About the project: The musical ‘1776’ follows John Adams battling a divided Second Continental Congress to secure a unanimous vote for independence. Recognizing his abrasive reputation as a liability, Adams teams with Benjamin Franklin and reluctant Thomas Jefferson to draft the Declaration of Independence as a political tool. The delegates face deadlock from loyalists and a Southern walkout over slavery, nearly derailing the movement. Personal moments and grim reports from Washington’s army build tension toward a final roll call. Through painful compromises and acts of courage, the delegates adopt the resolution and sign as the Liberty Bell tolls for a new nation. Rate: $350.00 – $650.00 per week.
