"A Year with Frog and Toad" Play Needs Boys and Girls

Kids ages 6-18 are invited to audition for "A Year with Frog and Toad" Play. Please see the details below. Additional info: You must be signed in by 8:30 PM to audition. Each group takes ~30 minutes. Please be prepared for possible wait times. WHAT TO EXPECT: • Prepare 16 measures (or one verse + one chorus) of a song that shows off your voice • The song does not need to be from the show • Bring sheet music or a karaoke track downloaded on your device • Accompaniment must have no lead vocals • You may be asked to read from the script. IMPORTANT DATES & NOTES: • List all conflicts between January 27 – March 6, 2026 • Tech Week: February 28 – March 6, 2026 Conflicts during Tech Week will affect casting. Directors strongly prefer no conflicts. • Rehearsals are typically weeknights (6:30–9:00 PM) and weekends (12:00–6:00 PM) • Extended hours during Tech/Dress Week MANDATORY COMPANY MEETING: If cast, there is a required Zoom meeting for ALL cast members AND a parent/guardian: Wednesday, February 11 @ 7:00 PM OR Saturday, February 21 @ 10:00 AM You must attend one meeting to participate. (Cast members from The Little Mermaid, Annie, or The Play That Goes Wrong are excused.) PERFORMANCES: March 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 @ 1:00 PM March 21 @ 4:30 PM (Two performances on March 21) Actor call time: 10:00 AM for 1:00 PM shows Performance conflicts are not accepted If interested, please apply.
