"Pirates of Penzance Jr." Auditions for Boys and Girls

Audition for "Pirates of Penzance Jr." This audition is for students ages 9-18. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Pirates of Penzance Jr. is a fast-paced, comedic operetta filled with pirates, police officers, mistaken identities, and lots of humor. The story follows Frederic, a young man who was mistakenly apprenticed to a group of tender-hearted pirates. On his 21st birthday, Frederic believes he is finally free—but thanks to a confusing technicality, his pirate duty may not be over after all. With clever wordplay, energetic songs, and silly characters, Pirates of Penzance Jr. is a lighthearted show that celebrates loyalty, duty, and doing the right thing—even when things get complicated. Additionla info: Auditions will be in hour-and-a-half slots. They will consist of a vocal and dance audition plus some side readings. Please choose just one slot.
