Girl in crisis. She’s our guide through the narrative’s emotional minefield, caught in between the life she thought she had and the life she has been dropped into. She is terrified that she will turn out like her father, but scared to let go of him completely. Her journey is one of wrestling inherited identity, rage, grief, and guilt. The arrest of her father unleashed a storm of questions. Chris’ humor is her armor—and occasionally her weapon.
