About the project: Get ready to experience a hilariously chaotic twist on a beloved classic with "The Phantom Breaks the Opera"! This uproarious musical comedy masterfully blends the eerie charm of Gaston Leroux's "The Phantom of the Opera" with the side-splitting misadventures of live theatre, where Murphy's Law takes center stage. When the masked ghost of the opera meets an accident-prone cast, prepare for a night of spectacular mishaps, unforgettable melodies, and belly laughs that will have you rolling in the aisles. "The Phantom Breaks the Opera" is a dazzling disaster you won't want to miss! Rate: All actor roles and crew positions are volunteer. However, as a thank you, everyone can receive 40% of the tickets sales they bring in. Additional info: Callbacks will be by invitation only. Rehearsals will run primarily in Springville and Spanish Fork from late February - April, Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thu from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (longer for dress rehearsals) and Sat from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Friday rehearsals may be added as needed. Not all actors will be needed at all times. Performances are at the Angelus Theatre with call times at 6:00 pm and showtimes at 7:30 pm. When applying, please submit: - A head shot to upload (a photo taken from a phone is fine). - A video recording of either (A) you singing (less than 30 seconds) a musical theatre song. - Be ready to share the conflicts you have between January and April of 2026.
