Seeking performers ages 16 and up for "The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: OrangeMite Studios is a grassroots, community-based Shakespeare company specializing in producing public-domain classical theatre. After nearly two decades in the York community, the organization remains entirely volunteer-driven; it is the first theatre organization in Pennsylvania to have ever produced all thirty-nine of Shakespeare’s plays. Additional info: Please prepare two selections: One contemporary audition side of your choosing. One Shakespeare audition side of your choosing. If you have a one-minute Shakespearean monologue prepared, you may perform that instead of reading a Shakespearean side. Each piece should be approximately one minute or less. While this is a comedy, Shakespeare’s language should be delivered confidently and competently. If you wish to be considered for more than one role, you may be asked to read from a second contemporary side, time permitting. Please see the attachment for more information, material, and form.
