Kids and Teens Needed for "Wizard of Oz" Show

Looking for kids ages 6 and up for the "Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. Additional info: Please bring to auditions any conflicts from February 16 to April 26, including Saturdays, as well as any allergies (to pets, food, or makeup/latex) and any special skills. A real dog will be used for Toto, so let the directors know if you have any fear of dogs. No need to prepare anything in advance. Those auditioning will learn some basic music, read or speak from provided material, and participate in basic movement games or dance. The Wizard of Oz is one of the 5 shows in the AMT regular season and is not part of the Mainstage Theatre Youth Play. Not all who audition may be cast. Auditions for ages 16 + will be held January 31 and February 1 from 2 pm to 5 pm All auditioning for the role of Dorothy should attend one of these auditions. All auditioners should prepare a humorous story to tell and be prepared to read from the script of the show. Those wanting a singing role should also prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice. A dance audition is not required, but those wishing to be included in the Jitterbug scene are welcome to prepare a short demonstration.
