"The Wizard of Oz" Show Needs Boys and Girls

Seeking kids ages 7 and up for "The Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Wizard of Oz stage show synopsis follows young Dorothy Gale, swept by a tornado from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz, where she embarks on a journey down the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to find the Wizard, hoping he can send her home, while befriending a Scarecrow (needs a brain), Tin Man (needs a heart), and Cowardly Lion (needs courage) and evading the vengeful Wicked Witch of the West, who covets Dorothy's ruby slippers. Ultimately, Dorothy learns that the power to return home was within her all along, realized through friendship and courage, culminating in her clicking her heels and waking up in Kansas, understanding "there's no place like home". Additional info: No prepared materials are needed for either audition date. Please wear clothes and shoes that allow you to dance and move easily. The Buda Summer Musical will be performing July 10-12, 17-19, and 24-26, show times start at 8pm at the City of Buda Park & Amphitheater. If interested, please apply.
