"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Auditiob for Kids and Teens

About the project: Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including "The Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination." Additionla info: AUDITION INFORMATION Please prepare 16-32 bars of music (about one minute) that highlights your voice and acting. In addition, prepare a short monologue appropriate to the show (no more than one minute). Finally, you will be asked to learn a short dance combination, so be dressed to move. Please bring your sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. If you’d like to use tracks, please bring those cued up, and you’ll be able to connect to the provided Bluetooth Speaker. You can pre-fill out your audition form and bring it with you. There will also be copies upon check-in. Callbacks will be on Wednesday, March 18. Please note that the fee applies.
