The rehearsal schedule is TBD based on actor conflicts. If interested, please apply.
10 roles
The most responsible March sibling, Meg is a stressed-out oldest daughter who transforms into a stressed-out wife and mother. Meg needs a break.
The third March sibling, Beth’s defining characteristics are that she plays piano and (SPOILERS) dies of Scarlet fever. Whoever plays Beth will need to know or learn how to passably beatbox. #bethdies
The youngest and most obnoxious March sibling, Amy’s goal in life is to be pretty when she grows up.
The mother of the March siblings, she is at best absent-minded and at worst neglectful of her children.
The boy-next-door who falls in love with Jo but ultimately marries Amy. Laurie goes to school in Boston. Well, actually Cambridge. Harvard, he goes to Harvard.
Laurie’s tutor, Mr. Brooke very much lives in the 1860s. Despite his old-fashioned manners, he charms and marries Meg. Has a singing solo (doesn’t have to be good but does have to be loud).
A writing teacher, he meets and falls in love with Jo in New York City. Has a German accent.
Laurie’s grandfather; elderly and hard-of-hearing.
A 19th Century hipster that Jo meets in New York City. Must have some dance ability (and/or a lot of dance confidence).
The only March brother, who is definitely there the whole time.
