About the project: The Duchy of Grand Fenwick is on the brink of bankruptcy. With the country's economy tanking ever since a Californian brand started ripping off their only export- the Pino Grand Fenwick- with a cheap imitation, things are looking desperate. But Gloriana the Twelfth has a plan: 1) declare war on the U.S.A., 2) be vanquished by them, and 3) reap the benefits of post-war rehabilitation and aid from said country. However, their attempt at invasion results in something most unexpected- they win! This delightful comedy explores the importance of moral conviction and courage to do the right thing and showcases the growth of character across its vast and multifaceted cast. Additional info: Only human characters, speaking & non-speaking parts. 1960s time period, with 15th Century inspirations. Explores themes of moral conviction, courage to do right, and growth of character. Note: A Fee will be applied. Print out the audition packet attached and start preparing!
