About the project: This is the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play despite the maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. When the authoress decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax to a thoroughly hysterical romp. Additional info: Doors open at 6pm. PREPARATIONS: You will be asked to read selections from the script. Please be prepared to complete an audition form. Please bring all known conflicts between February 16-May 7, 2026. REHEARSAL INFORMATION: Although the schedules are currently not set, productions typically rehearse weeknights (Monday – Friday, anywhere between 6:30pm – 10:00pm.) Occasional weekend rehearsals may occur depending on the conflicts and needs of the production. Sometimes directors are required to rehearse at offsite locations. These will be communicated when the rehearsal schedule is provided! PRODUCTION DATES: April 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 26*, 30 and May 1,2* ,3* 2026 (*2pm matinee) All of the characters are members of a community theater troupe attempting to stage a murder mystery titled Murder Most Foul.
