"The SpongeBob Musical" Needs Teens

Talent in 7-12 grades are welcome to audition for "The SpongeBob Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the beloved animated tv series, The SpongeBob Musical is an exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music with original songs from MANY popular artists such as Sara Bareilles, Cindi Lauper, John Legend, and David Bowie. With a stunning score and beautiful story, this 12 time Tony nominee show proves that the power of optimism really can save the world! Additional info: Singing: Please have prepared a 32-bar cut (about a minute to a minute and a half) of a musical theater song in the style of the show. Bring your own track or feel free to sing a acapella! Dancing: A video of the dance combo is attached, please be familiar with the combo when you come to auditions. Someone will be there to go over the combination before your audition. Reading: You may be asked to read sides from the show in your audition. If you are not asked to read, don't stress out! Looking for energy and character, feel free to show us your acting chops! The SpongeBob Musical is a very fun and animated show, it requires large personalities on stage, so show us who you are!
