"Moana JR." Show Needs Kids and Teens

Performers ages 8–18 are welcome to audition for "Moana JR." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s Moana JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana JR. features all the beloved songs from the film, written by Tony®, GRAMMY, Emmy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa’i, and Mark Mancina, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.” This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us. Additional info: Details: Day 1 – Singing Auditions (Feb. 9): -Sing one or two songs from the provided audition materials -Attend during your chosen time slot (4:30 pm-8 pm) Day 2 – Reading & Dancing (Feb. 11): -Wear something comfortable that you're able to move in -Bring water & prepare to stay for the full duration (5 pm-7 pm) Rehearsals will be MWF 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm starting Feb. 16 Tech week is April 13-17, every night, from 6 pm until finish running the show Dress rehearsals and opening week will be April 20-23, every night (same as tech week) Performances will be April 24, 25, 26 & May 1, 2, 3 Friday & Saturday nights at 7 pm and Sundays at 3 pm See the attachment for more information.
