Seeking Boy Actor for "Sock Drawer Play" Play

Casting the role of GENEVIEVE (age 7) for a 29-hour staged reading of a new play, Sock Drawer Play, ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: 100-dollar stipend. About the Project: Sock Drawer Play is set during a scorching NYC summer and follows a group of actors rehearsing in an overheated Midtown studio. As the rehearsal process unfolds, the line between the play and real life begins to blur, bringing buried emotions, humor, tension, and ultimately hope to the surface. The piece is sharp, funny, and emotionally honest. A parent/guardian will be welcome and involved throughout the process. Genevieve is posh, inquisitive, and a bit sassy - a sharp, observant 7-year-old who sees more than the adults realize. She’s confident, curious, and asks questions that sometimes land a little too close to the truth. Looking for a young actor with strong instincts, good listening skills, and comedic timing.
