About the project: Pippin is a Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson, famously directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse, who also contributed to the book. It tells the story of Pippin, a young prince in the Middle Ages, on his quest for meaning and fulfillment, framed as a performance by a mysterious troupe led by a Leading Player. The show is known for its iconic songs like "Corner of the Sky" and "Magic to Do," Fosse's distinctive choreography, and its exploration of war, love, and the search for happiness.
