About the project: Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the iconic, enchanting musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago” plus several additions from the Rodgers & Hammerstein collection. Alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Douglas Carter Beane, this modern adaptation introduces several new characters and surprising twists yet remains the heartfelt tale of a resilient woman who falls in love with her prince. Add a dash of fairytale romance, magical onstage transformations, and the iconic pumpkin and glass slippers – and you’re guaranteed to have a ball – pun intended! It’s the Cinderella we all know and love, with a modern twist, full of whimsy, heart and soul that will delight audiences of all ages.
