Audition for "Shrek" The Musical JR.. Casting boys and girls. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Read the audition packet, and prepare your song. Callbacks will be on Saturday, January 17th, from 11:15am to 4:00pm. There will not be a signup for callbacks. Some students will receive a role and not require a callback. Bring a printed copy of your lines and music to your audition & music workshop. Parents must wait quietly in the hallway during auditions. Rehearsal Schedule: Wednesdays 5:05pm-8pm, Fridays 5:05pm-8pm, Saturdays 11:15am-2:15pm Not all characters are called to every rehearsal or for the full duration of each rehearsal. Availability for rehearsals will affect casting. Depending on the role, your performer may have rehearsals on any of these days. MANDATORY REHEARSAL DATES: March 21, 25, April 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. Exceptions to mandatory rehearsal dates will be made on an limited basis for certain roles only. MANDATORY SHOW DATES: April 16th-19th, 2026. Please do not audition if you are unable to attend all show dates. If interested, please apply.
