Child Auditions for Musical Production "Seussical Jr."

6-17-year-old actors are invited to audition for "Seussical Jr." Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a dangerous world while guarding an abandoned egg that's been left by Mayzie La Bird. Though Horton faces ridicule, danger, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community emerge triumphant! Additional info: Optional Pre-Audition Workshops: February 22nd from 1:30pm - 2:30pm February 23rd from 6:00pm-7:00pm​ Callbacks (by invitation): February 25th Rehearsals: February through May, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm Not all actors are called for all rehearsals. Performances: 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, May 30th, Rudder Theatre at Texas A&M. There is no fee to audition, but if cast, there is a production fee to participate in the show that covers costuming, set, props, staff, facility rental fees, and more.
