Teens Needed for "Julius Caesar" Play

Seeking actors ages 16 and up for "Julius Caesar" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Shakespeare may have written Julius Caesar as the first of his plays to be performed at the Globe, in 1599. For it, he turned to a key event in Roman history: Caesar’s death at the hands of friends and fellow politicians. Renaissance writers disagreed over the assassination, seeing Brutus, a leading conspirator, as either hero or villain. Shakespeare’s play keeps this debate alive. Rate: All actors will be paid a stipend. Additional info: Auditions will consist of a one- to two-minute Shakespeare monologue of your choice. Callbacks will consist of cold readings from the script. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Callbacks: Monday, March 2nd, and Tuesday, March 3rd. Show dates: June 5th – July 12th Rehearsals will begin in April.
