Seeking Teens for "Dogfight" Play

Casting ages 16 and up for "Dogfight" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in 1963 on the eve of deployment to Vietnam, Dogfight follows a group of young Marines whose thoughtless competition takes an unexpected turn when one soldier encounters compassion, vulnerability, and genuine human connection. Featuring a contemporary pop-rock score by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, this intimate and emotionally grounded musical explores empathy, moral choice, and the cost of growing up. Additional info: Actors will be asked to prepare character-specific songs and sides from Dogfight. Directors are seeking strong actors/singers, strong actor/dancers, strong dancers, and strong actors. An ability to move well is an asset. Audition Sides: Will be emailed to you at the email address you provide when you register to audition. Directors want to see you at your absolute best, so familiarity with the material is strongly advised. That said, feel free to hold the sides as they absolutely do not need to be memorized. Tracks from show selections will be provided. Please note that this script addresses sensitive topics that may be triggering for some individuals. Please make sure you understand and have read or know the script before auditioning. Audition and rehearsal spaces are physically accessible.
