Description:

While on vacation, I had an idea after seeing sign-ups for a football camp what if we applied that same model to filmmaking? Instead of a short-term shoot, Neverland can be produced as a camp experience, where kids would help create a completed independent feature film. Kids would learn how a real production works, both on camera and behind the scenes, while contributing in a meaningful, hands-on way. This structure also helps an independent film stay on schedule and budget, while giving students real-world experience, collaboration, and a supervised, structured summer activity The camp would run June 8–July 5 in Los Angeles. The first half focuses on workshops (acting, directing, cinematography, writing, set design, makeup, music, etc.), and the second half focuses on filming. Participation would be flexible with partial attendance options. Fundraising can be available as well. This is just an idea, and I’d love honest feedback—positive or negative—before moving forward.
