"The Little Mermaid" Ballet Needs Kids and Teens

Looking for dancers ages five and up for "The Little Mermaid" Ballet. Please see the details below. Additional info: Dress: Girls - black leotard, pink tights, soft ballet shoes, hair secured in a bun; Boys - white shirt, black tights/pants, soft ballet shoes, hair secured out of face. Dancers en pointe should bring pointe shoes to the audition. Rehearsal Schedule: Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons for select times between 12:30 and 5:30 pm beginning in late January and continuing until the performance weekend. What to expect? -Audition fee -Be prepared to complete an audition form. -A photo and measurements will be taken. -The audition will require demonstration of skills and retention of choreography set to music. -Absences Allotted: 3 -Performance Week Schedule: (attendance required) Wednesday, May 6th - Blocking/Tech Rehearsal Thursday, May 7th - Dress Rehearsal Friday, May 8th - Morning Performance at 9AM & Evening Performance at 7PM Saturday, May 9th - Morning Performance at 11 AM Sunday, May 10th - Afternoon Performance at 2 PM If interested, please apply.
